I have friends that have taken the course from OTHER instructors and they all say the same thing about their experience..."boring and long." My dad and I took Gary's class on August 8th and it was anything but boring and he made an 8hr class fly by. Gary knows what he's talking about and if anyone is interested in taking the conceal carry course, I would recommend Gary in a second. Well worth every minute...Thanks Gary for a great experience!

If you are looking for a great CCW class this is it. Gary is a great teacher. He makes the class fun and teaches in a way you will remember it. I have taken another class for CCW but it was nowhere close to being as good as this one. Thanks Gary, I will be recomending this class to my friends

I was fortunate enough to attend Gary's CCW class yesterday and was very impressed with the attention to all aspects of the legal and safety issues pertaining to concealed carry. Gary's delivery of the material in a fun but informative way speaks volumes to his experience as a teacher. Even someone brand new to firearms would feel at home in this class. Everything was explained in an easy to understand and remember fashion and he encouraged us to actively participate by chiming in with questions and comments. If you are considering getting a CCW permit I simply cannot recommend Gary's class enough... great class, great teacher! :-)

Hi everybody, I wanted to inform everybody that I took Gary's class today and was very pleased. The presentation he gave was very informative, he taught you about gun laws, the extended version, some of the constitution including the Bill of Rights . Gary Steeley was forth-coming, professional and serious about this class. I have attended many classes in the past or you can say that I am a veteran of attending these type of classes, but this one takes the cake. The things I learned here gave me better insight or indeph into laws I understood, but this made it clearer. Those of you that are interested in taking his class, I would reccomend it to you. I took Gary's class on August 8 and was very pleased with the class. Gary is very entertaining and keeps the class light and fun. He has videos that help show real world examples and how the law would apply. He spends a good amount of time (more than required) on gun laws of North Carolina to make sure his students know when to use their firearm for personal protection. I will certainly recommend Gary to all my friends wanting to get their concealed permits.

I took Gary's class on July 18 on my son's recommedation. I'm glad I did. Gary spent more than the required time on legal issues and did a good job of making a dull subject interesting. He also spent a lot of time on firearm safety. Also, the time at the firing range was well controlled and safe. Plus, the price is hard to beat.

Gary is a great instructor who enjoys helping others by providing the knowledge and understanding about fire arms. He covers thoroughly: Respect (Safety) Rights (Second amendment) Rules (State laws for carrying a canceled weapon) Responsibility ( Storage and Self protection of oneself and others)

I took Gary's class on Saturday, July 18, 2009. It was very informative. It was a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Gary is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of firearms. Gary stresses safety and the laws that are to be followed. Gary's class was exceptional. He's extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of firearms. I came away with a new appreciation of the power in my hands, and what I can and can't do with it. AN ABSOLUTE MUST for anyone who plans to handle a handgun for self defense regardless of whether you plan to carry conceal. You MUST be aware of all the laws before you pull that weapon....I wasn't. Just took Gary's CCW class yesterday June 27th with my father and brother..... It was truly alot of fun and VERY informing....Gary will teach you everything you need to know and make the laws crystal clear so you have no doubt, with the laws we have today they seem to protect the criminal and not the law abiding citizen... so "Get Active, Write a letter, Call Someone" as Gary will tell you over and over. One can't complain if you don't start taking action for our RIGHTS the 2nd amendment that is being taking away from us more and more each day. With Gary's class you will be educated on SAFETY. SAFETY & SAFETY... and you will also see how crazy some of the laws are to protect ourselves and families and what you can do to stop it and make a difference. Even if you are unsure about getting your Concealed Carry Permit.... you must take one of his classes because he will make learning the law and regulations fun and exciting. Very nice, helpful and will help you with any question you have & make you feel like you can ask anything. His group setting is very relaxed and makes you feel comfortable... I was the only girl out of our class of men & i didn't feel the least bit intimidated by all of them or asking questions that i had. I recommend this class to everyone.

I was in Gary's class today June 27th, 2009. He was highly professional and I learnt a great deal of laws. Laws are to be followed and you are a better judge and with help from Gary I just did that today. I recommend his class for ccw and also he instructs other classes on hunting, bow and safety classes. Reach out to him and I became a NRA member too.

I took Gary's concealed carry class on May 30 . I have been shooting for years and learned a great deal about current NC laws and saftey . The class was fun and professionally done . I will recommend Gary's class to anyone interested in concealed carry . On a side note if I ever go to visit Mr. Blackwelder I promise I will knock first and not just walk in the door . I got my CC over a year ago through another, I attended this one however with my wife and can attest that Gary was much more informative then the previous class I attended. Gary is serious about safety and making sure you understand the law as it pertains to this class. I will recommend Gary to others.

I just took CARY STEELEY'S conceal class. let me tell that this man is a instrutor's instrutor. I'm a 84 year man with his help I came away with a bullseye on my target. this brother knows his stuff. p.s. I enjoyed the class so much I may go back again.

I took Gary's class this past weekend and thought it was very informative and easy to understand. we had a great time getting to know each other in the class and I certainly walked out with more knowledge than I had expected. all in all it was a great class and the price couldnt be beat. I recommend it to others for sure.

I drove 3 & 1/2 hours from Tarboro to Kannapolis to tak this class. I Mainly chose it because it fit my schedule and was scheduled soon. I ended up being glad I was inn Garys class. He focuses FIRST on SAFETY, then SAFETY and eventually get around to safety. When you have mastered hese three concepts,you move on to how to handle a weapon and when to use it and more importantly when not to use it. I came out of the class with a proper respect for deadly force , when it is appropriate to use it and when not. He taught me the importance of my 2A right and how to excercise it responsibly. Excellent class
