Posting a "no firearms here" sign? If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck! I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy. When seconds count, the police are just minutes away! A bystander saw an off duty police officer wearing his side arm, “are you expecting trouble” they asked, the officer replied “no, if I did I would have brought my shot gun!” A man was once asked if he had guns in the house, he said yes I do. “Well I certainly hope it isn’t loaded!” To which he said of course they are loaded, they can’t work without bullets! They then asked “Are you afraid of some one harming you in your home?” his response was, no not at all. I’m not afraid of the house catching fire either, but I have fire extinguishers and smoke detectors in good working order, ready to protect should something go wrong. He went on to add, having an unloaded gun in the house is like owning a car with no gas in it. Thanks David! He sent this to me. I could not have said it better!

I will not give my business to a place that will not let me protect myself, I can only hope you won't either, I'm not going to trust my safety to a person that doesn’t know how to protect theirs!
By posting no firearms in a place of business, (or anywhere else) is like telling the world come in and rob me.
Everyone here is un-armed and ready to give!
Be aware of what is going on around you, don't be where you shouldn't be.
You should practice a lot and keep it real (real to life).
Better to be pro-active than to be re-active.

In the 1st 12 months since gun owners in Australia were forced by new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by their own government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more than $500 million dollars. The first year results are now in:
Australia-wide, homicides are up 3.2 percent
Australia-wide, assaults are up 8.6 percent
Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent)!
In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300 percent. Note that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the criminals did not, and criminals still possess their guns!
It will never happen here? I bet the Aussies said that too!
While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady decrease in armed robbery with firearms, this has changed drastically upward in the past 12 months, since criminals now are guaranteed that their prey is unarmed.
There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and assaults of the ELDERLY. Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public safety has decreased, after such monumental effort and expense was expended in successfully ridding Australian society of guns. The Australian experience and the other historical facts above prove it.
You won't see this data on the US evening news, or hear politicians disseminating this information.

The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil,
I think that guns should be in our schools, for the staff.
We protect our presidents, VIPs, football games, banks, and other important areas from anyone who would threaten them. Why would you not protect our children? I have never seen anyone run into a police station trying to kill someone, I have schools and places where guns are baned, ever wonder why? At the VA Tech shooting, it was reported that the shooter reloaded his firearm several times and firing his firearms at least 174 times, if staff had a firearm, maybe, just maybe some of those students would be alive today! Calling 911 did not stop the killing, several teachers and students did. As seen on tv some of the officers were too afraide to go inside. It was only in numbers did the police finally get it but only after it was too late.
I would hate to think being without our brave police officers, they do help keep us safe, and do a great job! you try going to work every day and arresting the thugs they do. b u t YOU ARE THE 1ST LINE OF DEFENCE! Police can't be everywhere.
They keep us safe, and free! but it's the 2nd amendment that keeps the other ones alive.
We wont even get off our BUTTS!

The US Supreme Court said, the 2nd amendment was an individual right, the people's right.
But only by ONE VOTE.
The next time it is voted on, will it go the other way? I'm guessing it will.
